When designing the XR Spherical, we were looking for one helmet for everything, from cyclocross racing to exploring the world and just competing with friends on our weekly lunch ride. In the Falcon XR, we used many of the same features – the "Deep Road" fit, extensive ventilation, Fidlock clip, and antiseptic lining* Ionic+ – and built it into a helmet that is both practical and economical. This versatile helmet boasts the same "universality" ethos and slim XR Spherical profile, and is equipped with Mips Evolve, which provides protection in some cases. Plus, the Falcon XR Mips is compatible with our custom rear LED light Blackburn Grid COB, which smoothly integrates with the large rear ventilation opening.

MIPS: Equipped with integrated MIPS Evolve - MIPS means a multi-directional impact protection system, which is leading helmet technology, designed to reduce rotational forces that may occur in some falls.

CONSTRUCTION: A combination of polycarbonate shell in the In-Mold - Pro process, pioneered by Bell, which combines the external shell of the helmet with the EPS foam construction, creating a stronger helmet.

FIT SYSTEM: Float Fit - a very lightweight integrated fit system with MIPS, the dial provides easy adjustment, a wide range of vertical adjustment, and occipital support elements padded with additional foam for better comfort.

STRAPS: Quick-adjusting straps that help keep the straps flat and properly aligned. Low weight of straps.

LOCKING: Magnetic Fidlock clip that quickly clicks and makes it easy to secure

INTERIOR: The construction of the cheek pads directs moisture away from the eyebrow pad and away from the glasses.

CHEEK PADS: Ionic+ pads - Quick-drying material, woven with real silver threads, inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi causing unpleasant odors
